Application:
The OWR type shot blasting machines are designed for cleaning outer surfaces of pipes and round bars before application of the following coatings:
- insulation coating (pre-insulation of pipes),
- paint coating ,
- plastic coating.
- cleaning of surfaces is effected by shot blasts ejected by one or more projecting rotors,
- pipes and round bars move in a plane and rotary manner during the cleaning operation,
- speed of moving of cleaned elements is steplessly adjusted and it depends on:
- type and degree of contamination,
- bar or pipe diameter,
- customer’s wishes regarding capacity and expected cleaniness of surface.
- they are suitable for continuous operation in cleaning stations under full control of cleaning process.
In the working chamber a projecting rotor projects shot at high speed onto outer surfaces of pipes. Impurities and shot descend through a grate floor and a chute to the base of bucket elevator which transfers them to an air separator. Impurities separated in the separator go to wastes tank whereas clean shot is transported by a pneumatic shot feeder to the projecting rotor funnel.
Advantages:
To ensure constant cleaning capacity the shot blasting machine has been equipped with an automatic shot refiller.
To clean pipes A50 ÷ A200 mm a roller conveyor shall be used. After rollers, chain and guards are disassembled you will have a disk conveyor for pipesA200 ÷ A450 mm.
Speed of movement and rotation of pipes is steplessly adjusted by means of an inverter and stepwise adjusted by changing positioning angle of rollers or disks.
